This is the place if you want high quality meat and all the accessories! I’ve gone twice and the prices are very reasonable at or below market value. The staff is friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to try their desserts in the future (future post). I look forward to heading back that way soon!

Absolutely amazing shop. Good prices for a local butcher. An huge selection of local beer. Local honey and produce. The workers were extremely friendly. The deli counter was so delicious, I had the Italianio and it was probably once of the best sandwiches I have ever had.

Delicious sandwiches and a nice selection of locally made goodies. Veggies and a wonderful meat selection! They also have bundles of meat that looked really great for people with a deep freezer

Picked up our box of preordered meat.... Got some chicken legs and some ribs on the side...... Very nice place, we will be back next month for the $159 box!! The aroma of the bacon cooking was absolutely delicious!!

I was very impressed with the huge selection Steve's has. They've got lots of fresh fruits and veggies, many cuts of meat and fish, every bbq sauce ever made, tons of homemade foods, and my favorite, a great beer selection. We got some pimento cheese and it was very delicious. I want to come back for lunch and their other homemade foods like their cheesecake. Awesome local shop. Il be back for sure!

Small locally sourced market with butchers counter. When I am looking for quality items, we usually come to Steve's first. They also have a good sandwich counter.

Steve's prices for beer are, by my count, 25-30% higher than Weaver Street Market.. and Weaver Street ain't cheap. Veggies are in very poor shape. Selection in general isn't great. Hours are inconvenient, they close really early. The only thing I like about this place is that they sometimes have cheap meat. Meat is really the only reason to go here, and I'd say it's about the same quality/price as Food Lion.

This is one of the stores that I think brings character to the Town of Hillsborough. Local store with jams/preserves, great veggies, seasonal items, local/NC products, and of course their meats. Go in for one thing and come out with much more. This place brings variety to your food pantry. I get turkey legs here!
